      <title>Continuing Professional Development - An Entitlement for All</title>
      <link>http://hdl.handle.net/2428/8029</link>
      <description>Title: Continuing Professional Development - An Entitlement for All
Authors: General Teaching Council for Wales
Abstract: This paper sets out key principles of&#xD;
entitlement to CPD for teachers in&#xD;
Wales. It proposes that the National&#xD;
Assembly for Wales (NAfW) gives its&#xD;
support and approval for these principles and commits itself to providing appropriate financial support for the staged introduction with a view to full implementation by September 2007. Following further discussion with the Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning and her officials, Council will develop implementation proposals in consultation with the profession, the NAfW and other organisations who have a stake in school based education. Several of these organisations are seen as important partners in the development process.</description>
