key early childhood educators. Given the educational and economic trends in Ireland&#xD;
and other European countries and the debate continuing around childcare and preschool&#xD;
education, it is opportune for the INTO to debate the whole issue of Early Childhood&#xD;
Care and Education with particular regard to the role of primary teachers.</description>
