Abstract: This report sets out the Inspectorate’s findings of a survey of provision for Education for Mutual Understanding (EMU) as an educational theme in the Northern Ireland Curriculum (NIC), within the post-primary sector. The report is based on evidence gathered from visits to the 25 schools; the visits were carried out between September and December 1999.
